祭
1、(会意。甲骨文字形,左边是牲肉;左边是“又”(手);中间象祭桌。表示以手持肉祭祀神灵。古人杀牲,一是为自己吃,再就是常把牲肉放在祭台上,“祭”字就是有酒肉的祭祀,即牲祭。本义:祭祀)。
