闰
1、(会意。从“王在门中”。古代天子每年冬季以明年朔政分赐诸侯,诸侯于月初祭庙受朔政称为“告朔”。据《说文》段注,举行告朔之礼时,王通常居于明堂,但逢闰月,则居于路寝门,所以“从王在门中。”本义:余数。指历法纪年和地球环绕太阳一周运行时间的差数,多余的叫“闰”。如“闰月”) 同本义。
